GPS coordinate Information in National Identification Number

Today when i adjust my phone for Pray Sholat schedule , i wondering maybe this idea can be implemented for new format National Identification Number in Indonesia.
In my lovely country indonesia, i must admitted the government still have less concern for population administration management. No wonder many case the citizens have more  one National ID, because management administration still not yet centralized, this weakness can be exploited by unresponsible people.
I have heard 5 years ago, we (Indonesia) have plan to implement SIN / Single Identification Number but until now it seems not yet appliedJ, the purposes of SIN’s to make centralized database all of Indonesia residents, which have main purposes to cutover the convoluted bureaucracy, I imagine in SIN card there will have barcode number to checking in database system, and store all personal data like bank account, life & health insurance and last goal maybe like US national id named Social Security Number.
I think there are so many idea can be implemented for SIN, one little example is to adding data of GPS Global Positioniong Satellite coordinate information for address citizen in SIN. The purpose is based on coordinate GPS from SIN it will be more easy for the authority to make some validity.
But to implement the new system surely will not easy like reversing your hand palm, it will take big effort, for GPS data itself we can imagine we need collecting all coordinate starting per region, province , district, so on … and the GPS will be useful if the coordinate more detail.
But with the optimism with every heart of Indonesian people, I believe we can implement it along with the nation's welfare and positive progress of Indonesia.

Wireless Network Elements & Data Evolution

I will try to explain an outline of the wireless network, basically the network element in wireless GSM / CDMA have the same subsystem, if theres any different only in functionallity per subs.
The first layer we can Radio Subsystem, containing some element:
Handset / Mobile Subscriber will send and receive the signal from BTS : Base Transceiver Station, his duty as transmitter & receiver signal radio to Mobile subscriber.
BSC : Base Station Controller , which is responsible to handling some of BTS’s
And the second layer usually recognize as Network Switching Subsystem
MSC : Mobile Switching Centre , as his name the main responsibilty to switching and routing.
HLR : Home Location Register, store data origin subscriber.
VLR : Visitor Location Register, store active subscriber, and mostly VLR already integrate with MSC.

On above data is main part of wireless network for basic services, but theres another sytem we must’nt forget because this system will support current services , like IN / Intelligent Network the function for charging to prepaid subscriber, and other Value Added Sevice subnetwork like SMSC / Short Message Service Centre to support sms service , MMSC / Multi Media Messaging Service Centre , IVR / Interactive Voice Response, VMS / Voice Mail System,
Specially data services I will highlight the evolution, the data service use by subscriber since 2nd generation like GSM, CDMA2000 1x , 2,5 Generation known like GPRS General Packet Radio Services & EDGE Enhance Data Rate for GSM Evolution and for CDMA domain there services named PDN Packet Data Network, finally broadband service up to 2 Mbps provided in 3rd generation : W-CDMA / UMTS Universal Mobile Telecommunications System and for CDMA platform using CDMA2000 1x EV-DO Evolution Data Only.

Overview of Wireless Evolution.

Firstly let us flashback about wireless history, in old time Wireless communication systems have traditionally focused on voice services.
as we remember The Grandpa's of generation (firts gen i mean ) wireless using analog system and only provides basic voice and low-speed circuit data using expensive dial-up modems.
Then for The second generation system already digitalized and have more capacity for voice, and also the quality surely improved, there another voices services.
And for the third generation system, 3G wireless, can also supports traditional voice and high-speed packet dataservices.

Let focusing to 3G wireles before maybe in the future we talking abaout 4th Gen.
The improvement has been done in 3G, from standarisation we can found some improvemnt like managing RF power more efficient, and also in 3G we replaced circuit switched data with packet data, and surely in 3G we have faster data rates.
